FAQ Friday: How Long Are the Boudoir Sessions?

“How long are the Boudoir sessions?”

If you choose to have your professional makeup done by Lin, our sessions are between 3 to 3½ hours long (Lin’s makeup service adds 30 to 45 minutes to your session time). Sessions are done on Thursday and Friday mornings starting at either 9am or 10am depending on if Lin is doing your makeup.

It takes about an hour between makeup and exploring the Client Closet to choose your wardrobe. Then it’s time to start the photoshoot part of your session, which is about 2 hours of posing guidance and model-for-a-day experiences.

Since our clients are pampered with getting their hair styled, professional makeup and the movie star treatment during their session, most take the whole day to enjoy the excitement that comes from a Boudoir session–no work and either a girls-night-out or date-night later in the day. You’re going to want to share those good vibes with the world!
