Vicky Finds Her Inner Goddess

I had the best time working with Vicky.  She is so kind and humble and absolutely gorgeous.  I mean, seriously. The best part of my job is helping women see the beauty they have on the inside is also on the outside as well. 

Here is her story:

A stunning, confidently mature woman, Vicky spent her younger years self-conscious over the shape of her body. After an elective breast reduction, she decided to finally use her husband’s boudoir gift to celebrate the ‘new her.’ 

“It’s hard to describe, but there were so many emotions happening in this process. I kept staring in the mirror and part of me started to get very excited about my shoot with Lin.”

At 55, Vicky wasn’t going to let the insecurities of the past stop her. She was ready to empower herself and express the beautiful woman she is. Capturing a moment in time, the process of growth is one of the most beautiful things one can do. 

“I still think I was in shock because it was the new me and not the old me…. She was able to capture me in a way I never thought possible.

My body was still very much healing, but the photos captured a side of me that I didn’t see coming. I was seeing what my husband was and I was finally accepting (of what he was seeing). My photo shoot was a part of my history. A snapshot in time. My self-confidence and self-image were definitely impacted in the most incredible ways.”

Vicky’s advice for preparing for your very own boudoir shoot:

“Put your fears aside. Don’t be nervous. Enjoy the process and let Lin help you find your inner goddess.”
